Getting started with the Credibility Toolbar is easy. The setup procedure consists of two steps: creating an account and installing the toolbar software. Although you may taker advantage of the toolbar without signing up for an account, we recommend that you complete both steps for optimal browsing experience.
The Credibility Toolbar system consists of two main components:
In order to take advantage of all of the toolbar's features, we recommend that you first create an account and then install the toolbar software.
Click here to create a web site account. During this process you will be asked to provide a username and password. You will use this information to log on to the web site, both in the browser and when using the toolbar. Once you've signed up, you can download and install the toolbar.
This page allows you to download the toolbar software. The toolbar is a free plug-in for the Mozilla Firefox browser. If you do not have Firefox, you can download it for free.
Once you visit the install page using Firefox, you may install the toolbar by clicking the link called "Install the toolbar software". Clicking this link will cause a confirmation window to pop up; once the timer is completed, you may click "Install" to install the plug-in.

If you have never installed the toolbar before, Firefox may first block the plug-in from installing. If this happens, you may still install the plug-in by adding the toolbar web server to your list of trusted sites.
After the toolbar software has installed, you must restart your browser. The toolbar should appear the next time you run Firefox.
